Justice Ginsburg Speaks an Unusual Word for Unusual Times

As unusual as it may have been for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to say what she did about Donald Trump's candidacy for the presidency, the fact that she spoke as she did goes to underscore the extraordinary and potentially dangerous nature of Trump's ambitions for the nation and the world. 

Opinionators are piling on, criticizing Ms. Ginsburg for issuing such a seemingly "inappropriate" statement, but few if any have put her remarks in the context of the irreparable harm that could be done if Trump is successful.

Should a Supreme Court Justice who felt deeply that she saw what was coming, as a matter of conscience, be required to hold her peace?
